Funding is provided by North Somerset Council up to 5 sessions (15 hours per week).
An invoice is produced before the start of every term for charged sessions. This shows the school fees less nursery funding. Supervision and after school club charges are totted up at the end of every term.
The Nursery sessions are from 9am to 12 noon and 12 noon to 3pm.
For Nursery pupils a combination of morning, afternoon or full day sessions can be arranged, subject to availability. In order to provide continuity of experience and learning it is preferable for Nursery pupils to attend for five morning sessions as soon as possible after entry although, in some circumstances, parents may wish to begin with three sessions. We consider three sessions to be a minimum.
Children may enter the morning and afternoon session 5 minutes prior to its start. For entry between 8.30am to 8.55am a supervision charge of £2.50 will be charged. Nursery children staying beyond 3pm will be charged the After School Club rate. A time register is kept.
Children staying the whole day (2 sessions) or who are just doing the afternoon session are required to bring a packed lunch.
When your child enters Ashbrooke you will receive a ‘Children’s Information Form’ to complete, accompanied by a privacy notice which explains to parents how and with whom their child’s information will be shared At the start of every term you will also be required to complete a ‘Parents Declaration Form’ which enables you to receive the funding. The school administers both these forms.
